Payment


We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards and PayPal for payment of orders placed on this website. All prices are in U.S. dollars and all transactions must be completed in U.S. dollars. Our website uses full secure-socket-layer data encryption (SSL) when handling customer information and financial information during ordering and is scanned daily for security vulnerabilities. Our website is authenticated by GeoTrust for SSL encrypted data transfer verification.

General Information


If outside of the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Puerto Rico, please call +1 703 421 7861 (Monday - Friday 9am – 6:00pm Eastern Time) for availability of service to your country. Customs fees and duty may be charged by authorities in the country of importation; all such fees and duty will be the responsibility of the importer/customer.

Canada and Mexico: parts and accessory orders may be subject to customs inspection upon arrival in-country; Capital Cycle is not responsible for custom delays.

Virginia Residents: state and local sales tax (as applicable) will be added to your total at the time your order is processed.

We may have to contact you with questions about your order therefore it is very important that we have your correct daytime telephone number and valid email address. If we have a question, and are unable to contact you, your order may be held up until you contact us.

Back Orders


Shipment of back-ordered items will be automatic if it is received in our warehouse within two months. If this is acceptable, you need do nothing. However, if you would like to cancel, please notify our customer service department at 800-642-5100.
 

Special Orders


Items designated as "Special Order" must be pre-paid in full, including shipping. No cancellations or returns are permitted.


Shipping


This web site calculates shipping automatically for destinations within the USA. For overseas destinations we will e-mail you with the cost of shipping before charging your credit card. To place an order requesting overnight shipping (to USA destinations only), please call 800-642-5100.

We use only United States Postal Service for shipments to destinations outside the USA. Capital Cycle is not responsible for any delay in customs.

UPS is not able to deliver to PO Boxes. UPS may require signature at delivery of your shipment. All shipping times are based on business days; Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.

Capital Cycle reserves the right to select the most economical form of shipping based on your needs.

Warranty


Capital Cycle guarantees all products(1) against defects for one year from purchase date. We offer a full refund or exchange up to 30 days from date of purchase, provided all the return conditions below are met*. All products are subject to the manufacturer's warranty for workmanship and material. Labor is not included. Failure of a product due to misuse, incorrect installation or failure of related parts is not covered by warranty and is not the liability of Capital Cycle.

Notes:

1. There is no warranty on control cables, light bulbs or fuses.

Returns



If you are not 100% satisfied with any of our products, please contact us right away - (703) 421 7861 or sales@capitalcycle.com.

You may return merchandise provided it is unused and in original condition within 30 days from the date of invoice for a full refund of the purchase price. Goods must be in the manufacturer's original packaging. Please note exceptions to this policy listed below. All shipping costs related to returns and exchanges are the responsibility of the customer except in the case of defective merchandise, or if incurred because of an error on our part. Returns made later than 30 days of the invoice date or when invoice number(s) are not provided may be refused or subject to a restocking fee of 15%.

  • Before returning a product, you must call Capital Cycle for a Return Merchandise Authorization number at 703 421 7861 (international: +1 703 421 7861).
  • The Return Authorization Number must be clearly legible on the outside of the box.
  • Returns of any products purchased must be made in their original cartons and in "as-new" condition.
  • A copy of the invoice along with a brief description of why the item is being returned must be packed in the box.
  • All items must be shipped pre-paid, including duties, customs, and special handling charges, where applicable. C.O.D. will not be accepted.
  • In the event you received a defective part, it will be replaced with another (if available) when returned within 30 days. Our liability for materials or goods found defective, is limited to the value of goods sold or furnished and we will not accept claims for labor or consequential damage.
  • There is no return on special order items. Special orders must be prepaid in advance.
  • There is no return on Hepco&Becker side carriers, rear racks or C-Bows without prior agreement.
  • There is no return on workshop manuals, parts manuals, books, cables or diagnostic equipment.
  • There is no return on videos and CDs/DVDs if the seal is broken.
  • There is no return on electrical parts – including, but not limited to, gauges, relays, lights, bulbs, starters, alternators, regulators, switches and wiring harnesses.

Damaged Shipments


  • Damaged shipments are the responsibility of the carrier. Should your shipment appear to be damaged or opened when you receive it, check the contents in the presence of the driver. Report any discrepancies and file a damage claim with the carrier at that time.
  • Recording damaged shipments is the responsibility of the customer, you must have the driver note all damages on the freight bill before you sign for the package.
  • Save all packing materials your order was shipped in, until your claim is settled.

To Ship Us A Returned Part


  • Be sure it meets all the RETURNS requirements (stated above.)
  • The original packing slip/invoice or a copy must accompany the return. (Remember to keep a copy for your records!)
  • The Return Merchandise Authorization Number must be printed on the outside of the returned package to be accepted.
  • All returns must have shipping charges pre-paid, including duties, custom and special handling charges, where applicable. C.O.D. will not be accepted.
  • On returns due to OUR ERROR, if a re-ship is necessary, we will pay standard ground service shipping charges.
